  This week we reviewed 3-digit addition with regrouping and will review subtraction next week.  We will be moving on to multiplication soon, so please practice your addition and subtraction skills. In social studies, we continue to research for our animal and regions project. In science, we are working on our building project and learning about invasive species.  Happy first Friday of November! We have already learned about nouns and verbs, and this week we learned about adjectives.  What is an adjective?  Your child will have their quiz to show you today! Each Friday the kids will do a quiz on the grammar learned that week.  I will send the quizes home once they are marked so you can see where your child is doing well, or may need some extra work. In math, we continue to work on our 3 digit addition with regrouping and 2 digit subtraction.  We've also been practicing identifying number patterns, adding money, identifying fractions and solving word problems.  Your child will have their quiz to show you today! In social studies, we have started a project on researching an animal and the region it lives in. In science, we have started a project on building a 3D representation of slow and fast changes and landforms.  Please bring cardboard or other matterials from home to use on Monday.
