In math, we are working on telling time, number patterns, word problems, and continuing to solidify our multiplicatioin and division facts.  Happy Friday!! I am so happy to be back in the classroom with the kids.   This week in math we have continued to work on division and multiplication.  We are also practising telling time, solving word problems and reading a table using tallies for information. In literacy, we almost finished up our class novel, Ollie's Odyssey.  Ask me about the book.  We have been focusing on our writing, including sentence structure, increasing the amount we write, and focusing on correct grammar.  We also learned about adverbs. In science, we are learning about simple machines and force. In social studies this week, we talked about Lunar New Year.  We are in the year of the fire horse.  Do you know what animal is yours?
