Happy Friday! We read a book called My Monster and Me. We discussed big feelings, such as anxiety and worries and how we can recognise this in ourselves to help us feel better. We discussed positive strategies that might help us when we are feeling worried. We are doing a science/social studies project. We have to build a machine using simple machines to load a resource onto a vehical to move it from one region in Alberta to another. We have to use at least 4 simple machines in it. We talked about Autism Awareness Month. We read books and shared our feelings about autism. We learned that some kids just learn differently. In math, we are working on memorizing our multiplication facts up to 12 x 12. This week in grammar we learned concrete and abstract nouns.
