 Happy second last day of June! Please send home an extra reuseable bag for next week.  We will have quite a few things to bring home. This week we have been working on as final science and social project. We have really enjoyed playing predator and prey in science. We learned about the summer solstice.  It is this Sunday.  Friday June 12, 2026 We are in the home streatch of grade 3.  We had a visitor, Mrs. Reid, who came to make biscuits with the kids.  We are reading Ticket to Curlew in social and in the story the character makes biscuits.  The story takes place in 1915 in Curlew, Alberta. The kids were excited to get a chance to do Alien In-line skating this week. We are working on our multiplication and division facts. We had a great time doing Alien In-Line skating!  Happy first Friday of June! We walked to a neighbourhood park and played preditor vs prey. In social we finished our research into government. We learned about homophones and homographs. We start Alien In-Line next week. We skate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.  You can bring in your own helmet.
